We are often asked what comes to mind when we think of Bollywood and we say – a hero who puts Batman and Superman, to shame, a heroine who behaves like she is the modern day Cleopatra, dancing around trees, action, comedy, romance and a whole lot of drama. And what gives you the perfectly flavoured Bollywood Masala movie. Welcome to Mumbai – the hub of Indian cinema and home to the largest film industry in the world. This tour will let you experience a movie shoot first –hand, replete with the glamorous stars, the starry eyed fans, the larger than life sets and the catty paparazzi. It also includes a behind the scenes visit to the campus of one of the leading acting schools in Mumbai and a Bollywood Dance workshop.
Learn to act Bollywood side from a local acting teacher and finally shake those hips to a choreographed Bollywood dance while being guided by a professional dance choreographer.
Itinerary
Ø Starting the tour with Rehman Wall – explaining the uniqueness and his artistic brilliance .The famous painter who has painted posters for Mughal-e-azam, Naya Daur, etc. also has painted one entire wall with famous personalities, right from Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth to Al Pacino.
Ø Walking along the Market Street and clicking pictures at the Punjabi Dhabba
Ø Court Room: The location where shoots are perennial – the court room.Walk in to the lavish court room, where culprits are punished for the crimes that have not committed. Dress up as a lawyer and fight a case with conviction. Better, climb-up the chair of the judge and pass a verdict in favour of whom you deem is right.
Ø Hospitals: Visit the 2 floors of the hospital and pick your choice of becoming a doctor or a patient. Check out the ICUs or prefer to be a receptionist. These hospital floors have been walked by industry legends like Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Anil Kapoor, Ritesh Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, Priyanka Chopra, Ram Kapoor and Ajay Devgan to name a few.
Ø Going to the shooting locations and experiencing the live shoots .
Ø Bollywood Gallery: The place where you will get to see the original movie posters of the early Bollywood movies. No one in the world has those posters. You will also see hand painted posters of the iconic movies – some signed by the directors and actors themselves. Know more about the famous directors, musicians and singers – all at the Bollywood Gallery.
Ø Theatre: Get mesmerized by our VFX presentation along with taking a tour of 100 years of Bollywood – a journey that shows how Bollywood has transformed over the years into the glamorous industry it is today.
Ø Dance performance by the dance group who work as juniors in the Bollywood movies and TV serials giving the guest the spice of Bollywood dance numbers. Shake a leg and learn some of the best Bollywood dance moves like the ‘latkas’ and ‘thumkas’.
Ø Police Station: The recently refurbished police station consists of a central jail, prison lock-ups and a commissioner’s office. Walk through the floors, dressed in an inspector’s costumer, where famous movies like ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ & ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ have been shot.
Ø Trying costumes from some of the famous Bollywood movies and clicking pictures.
Ø Dubbing Studio: Tourists will get an opportunity to dub their famous dialogue of the Bollywood Movies. Tourists get an opportunity to sing in a proper singing studio which will be fully equipped singing studio.
